Marianne Mispelaëre
THE WORDS FROM ANNESOPHIE BÉRARD, OUR CURATOR :
Act, Listen, Share
Born in 1988, the French artist Marianne Mispelaëre is interested in the complexity of our languages, our identities and our constructions. Her sensitive work questions the invisible relationship between our bodies, our thoughts and our words.
The poster presented is part of the Mantra project. It consists of 10 sentences (available upon request) that encourage those who write or read it to act according to their aspirations. In this typographic proposal, the artist has isolated the heads and feet of the letters of the alphabet and placed the top of the letters at the bottom, and vice versa. This form makes palpable the process of repetition necessary for the setting in movement. The second project presented, Panorama des Alternatives Concrètes, is a collective and collaborative opensource platform gathering proposals of other possible modes of organization and action.
The Caring Gallery is committed to donating 10% of the sale of this work to the partner association of the exhibition.
