Carole Chebron
The words from AnneSOphie bérard, our Curator :
What individual and collective mechanisms need to be put in place for a word to be released, for a step to be possible? The work Les Soucis by the artist and ceramist Carole Chebron speaks to us of these intimate brakes that hold us back, that prevent us. They are at the heart of many of today's struggles: knowing how to say that my sex is not my gender; knowing how to say that I too have been a victim; knowing how to say that I will not be satisfied... If the 21st century is thus marked by this incredible capacity to dare to formulate what we have been keeping silent, it is precisely because these obstacles are finally being considered at their true value: as a political subject.
The Caring Gallery is committed to donating 10% of the sale of this work to the partner association of the exhibition.
